So I just picked up the game to dip my toes in a bit before the full release; mostly liking what I see so far (loved the first game). One thing I'm disappointed about is that inventory management seems to be just as disorganized as before, or maybe even worse. Most of the issues stem from the fact that each character has his/her own inventory, instead of a party-wide pool. Crafting is a pain. Controls in Divinity Original Sin 2 are available for keyboard and mouse and for a controller. Players can enjoy split-screen via controlers with minimum setup and work. Players can enjoy split-screen via controlers with minimum setup and work. 2-handed axe: Level 20 20% Critical Chance +3 Str +2 Int +2 Warfare +1 Two-Handed Set Decaying for 2 turns. 25% chance +50% Cleave Damage Grants skill: Living on the Edge. Hold by a statue in chapel around x341, y383. Justinia's Favor: gloves: Given to you by Justinia once you complete the quest after kill Isbeil. Kallisteis: Boots +3 Finesse. Give - Moves an item from somewhere in the game (local item, quest item, global item) to your inventory. Create - Creates an instance of a stats object in your inventory (notice there is a huge difference between give and create!!!1).
I'm all done on Reapers Coast and ready to sail, but I can't find a way to sail to the next area without Gareth. He's digging away at his parents graves.
I've killed Jonathan, I have his ring and his gloves in my inventory, no trigger for dialogue with Gareth.
I snuck into his parents house by throwing a Pyramid over the back wall and killed the Silent Ones there (log updated accordingly), still no trigger for dialogue with Gareth.
Two Paladin's on the door I don't seem to have enough stats to persuade to formally let me in. Even taking wits potions all my attempts are failing (even tried some of the lower stat combinations on other characters with no joy).
Anyone got any thoughts on this? I was going to bump up my persuade a few points on my next level but I've pretty much run out of things to do on the island for XP.
